Screw piles are a ground anchor used as a building deep foundation solution.  They are manufactured using various sizes of steel pipe, with the number of helices, their diameter, position on the pile shaft and plate thickness all dependent on soil quality.  They act as stumps in suspended flooring applications and offer many different uses including slab footings, walkways, narrow access retention, sign posts and light poles to name a few.
